   The gryphon Skeletton

This is what I beleive the gryphon's bones would look like.
The head and wigns of a raptor bird, the body of a feline.

The front paws are like thus of a bird, but they are placed
near the head, like a feline.

You can notice there are 2 pairs of shoulder blades. One for
the wings, the other for the front paws. There is a large
cavety in the paws'shoulder blades to ensure that the wings
are not blocked during the flapping movement.

The wings's shoulder blades are small and hidden behind
those of the front paws.

An other internesting thing to nitice, is the huge brest bone.
This is where the wing muscles are attached.

The bones, I suppose, must be almost empty, just like birds.
It is the only way that the gryphon would be light enough
to fly.

gryphon claws gryphon head
Gryphon wing

These are all examples of usual gryphon body parts.
The head is like an eagle's.. with pointed ears
The wigns like a bird's and eagle claws.
However, it was also known that the head of egiptian gryphs
was one of a falcon not an eagle...

Undead gryphon
An undead gryphon *click for better view*. We suppose undeads
do not have all internal organs that gryphon have.
